Randy has been with AWG going on fifteen years. Prior to AWG he worked with the Nation’s largest food wholesaler for twenty years. Randy has worked in many areas of the grocery industry. Started out in retail as a cashier and then in Produce. Worked in warehousing loading and unloading trucks. After finishing college, he moved into advertising where he led the creative side of advertising. Eventually moving into roles of ad coordinator and advertising director. Today, Lane is the Director of Advertising & Marketing and is responsible for traditional and digital advertising. He has experience in working with independent retailers in all formats including limited assortment, cost plus, price impact, as well as, conventional. Today, his focus is on providing an omnichannel marketing solution for AWG’s member-retailers. It’s important and a challenge providing a seamless consumer experience for independent retail grocers. Most of his time is spent working with data-base loyalty marketing, eCommerce and digital coupons.
Randy and his wife Donna also own the Central Region of the National Auto Sport Association. Which is an auto racing sanctioning body. Offering High Performance Driving Experience-Racing Schools, Time Trials and Wheel-to-Wheel Racing. They also manage their sons racing career who races in the American Iron series and NASCAR owned ARCA series.
